Pkd Biography

Pkd hails from Delta State, Nigeria. Born and brought up in Warri Delta State. He spent some time in Benin Reading Geograpy and Regional Planning in the University of Benin. During the last quarter of he's school years he became active in the underground music scene releasing music through file sharing sites and gathering some social following, his biggest musical feature came in 2012 when he was featured in the mixtape of the then new storm records artist Yung6ix's Greeen Light Green which he was featured in 3 tracks. He has also toured alongside 2Face Idibia as an opening act for his 2013 campus connect tour which featured other acts such as MI, Vector, Sound Sultan, Solid Star and many other artist. The rapper is currently busy building up his movement with 3 other MCs O2Fly, Nino, and K_Enzyme who make up the DarkShades Movement (DarkShadeView) according to the rappper the name comes from the red eye mentality and you need dark shades to remain coded. It's more about the mentality than the shades it's about thinking and doing things different from the average. His underground classics include Ev Ting Sofft, Proof Of Life, Warri State Of Mind, BATM, Ghana Must Go.

His influences include Jay-Z, Notorious B.I.G, Kanye West, Nas, Eminem, Bob Marey, Fela 2Face Idibia.

Pkd is an acronym for his real name according to him he chose it because his music comes from personal experiences.
